If you are searching for simple gluten-free supper dishes that the entire family will like, you have come to the correct spot! Home chefs will love how simple it is to put up this crowd-pleasing recipe for walking taco casserole, which requires very little work on their part.

A walking taco casserole is an even simpler way to prepare taco night! The addition of cream cheese gives the seasoned ground beef a tangy and creamy boost, and it is topped with crispy Doritos or Fritos and melty cheese that is gooey and stringy. This simple taco casserole is a great option for a quick and easy evening meal that can be done in just 25 minutes.

The base of the taco casserole is a blend of seasoned ground beef that also has a sour component added to it. Since the addition of a dollop of cream cheese helps to blend and soften the taste, it is particularly appealing to customers who are picky about their food. The combination of crispy Fritos and melty cheese is hard to refuse at dinnertime.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

1½ Pounds.Of ground beef.

Taco seasoning; I used one packet.

1 Cup.Of salsa.

½ Cup.Of water.

Cubed cream cheese; I used 3-oz.

3 Cups.Of Frito corn chips.

1½ Cups.Of shredded cheddar cheese.

Serve with; shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, jalapenos

DIRECTIONS:

1st Step:

Turn the temperature in the oven up to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2nd Step:

Brown the ground beef in a large pan made of nonstick material over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. After the steak is done cooking all the way through, if there is any excess fat, drain it.

3rd Step:

Place the meat back into the pan, then pour in the taco seasoning, salsa, and water. Stir to combine.

4th Step:

Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat and cook for another 5 minutes with the lid off. Mix it up every so often.

5th Step:

Whisk in the cream cheese until it is completely incorporated and smooth. Place the meat mixture in a baking dish that measures 11 by 7 inches.

6th Step:

After placing the Fritos on top, sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese and return to the oven for five to ten minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. As soon as possible, serve with any toppings you choose.
