Crock Pot Cube Steak


Some dishes are so homely and comforting that they will linger on the best memories of family and home. This Crockpot Cubed Steak with Gravy recipe is one of those dishes. One piece of tender and flavorful cubed steak will transport you back to one of those cherished times.


°6 steak cubes
°1 medium onion, peeled and cut into rings
°1 can of cream of chicken soup
°1 can cream celery soup
°1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup
°1/2 can of soup water
°Salt and Pepper

*How to make

Peel and cut one medium-sized onion into rings and separate it.
Salt and pepper each steak cube.
Place 2 steak cubes in the bottom of the crock pot.
Put onions and repeat. Each addition of meat is separated by onions. This will help it separate later and avoid it being one jumbled lump of meat cubes.
In a separate bowl, add the cream of soup and water and mix. Pour soup mix on meat.
Sprinkle the onion soup mixture on top, put the lid on the crock pot and heat it over low heat.
Soon your kitchen will start smelling delicious and 6-7 hours later you’ll have dinner! Add a side of mashed potatoes to help enjoy the gravy and a salad or green vegetables and you’re ready to eat.
Note: If you like cream of mushroom soup, I’m sure you can use it too. For me, I’m not a fan, so I opted for a different blend.
