THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
A large Pkg.Of frozen shredded hash brown potatoes.
A medium Pkg.Of fully-cooked Polish sausage.
1½ Cups.Of grated sharp cheddar cheese.
1 Cup.Of sour cream; at room temp.
A medium diced onion.
¼ Cup.Of butter – melted.
¼ Tsp.Of black pepper.
¼ Tsp.Of kosher salt.
1 can.Of condensed cream of chicken soup.
Optional garnish: chopped fresh herbs or sliced green onions
Prepare the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Prepare a baking dish that is 13 inches by 9 inches, grease it, and put it aside.
First, cut the sausage into slices, and then cut each slice into quarters (such that the resulting pieces are bite-sized).
Put all of the ingredients into a large mixing basin and toss them together until they are well incorporated.
Transfer the mixture to the baking dish that has been prepared.
Bake, uncovered, for approximately 40 minutes (or until the top is heated, bubbling, and faintly browned).
